
Having a pretty basic understanding of C#, Javascript, and the like, Construct 2 is perfect for me, who is both too OCD and far too lazy to spend hours figuring out how to create an engine. Also, I think Javascript is the ugliest language I've ever written in.
Anyway, I'm creating an idle / incremental game, and this is my first step.
Basic timer, player stats, and update loop. Really this was to make sure I could do it, and to get a framework set up to work with. Because Construct 2 is so easy to use, it's really easy to just dive in whenever I'm bored, and pick up where I left off.
The concept behind it doesn't really matter for now, but here is the beginning of "The Tower of Xikhuzu".
